Clinical counsellor, lecturer, educator and trainer.
As a clinical counsellor, I embrace a therapeutic and empathetic approach with one-on-one counselling, couple counselling and group work.
I work with an integrative approach that combines different therapeutic methods, such as EMDR, solution-focused, and acceptance and commitment therapies, combined with a person-centred approach. I have worked with and supported clients who have experienced mental health issues, abuse, depression, trauma, relationship issues, grief, loss and anxiety.
Services include delivering psycho-educational workshops to other professions and organisations, such as academic teachers and tutors in counselling subjects for a tertiary provider in Australia.
Accredited clinical counsellor registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and Australian Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I adhere to PACFA’s Code of Ethics with continued professional development and monthly clinical supervision. I hold a degree in applied social science (specialising counselling), a postgraduate degree in rehabilitation studies, and other related studies and training.
